Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! As most photographers do I imagine, I have a tradition of creating my own holiday cards involving photos I've taken. Normally I collect a few props and set up a shot in the studio but this year, the photo for the card sort of fell into my lap.

I was shooting a series of photos for the shopping district in a local town. One of the shops had these great little figures arrayed just as you see them. I snapped a few shots and when I got home I thought to myself, "You know, I think I'll keep that shot for myself and use it on my card this year."
