Welcome to 2010! I kicked the year off with a short road trip out to the Washington coast. Needed to clear my head, feed my soul and spend a little time communing with nature and my camera.

On my way out to the coast I stopped at Lake Crescent, on the northern border of the Olympic National Park. The timing couldn't have been better. Although it was a rainy day, the weather cleared just a bit and I was able to get some beautiful shots of the lake. It was really a very special experience.
