I had a great opportunity to try my new 50-200mm SWD lens out shooting theater photos this past week. I was able to attend the final dress rehearsal of "Seven Year Itch" at Redwood Theatre in Redmond, WA.

This theater has a small audience for their final rehearsal so I had to shoot from behind the audience with a telephoto. A perfect test for the new lens. The lighting scheme for this show made for challenging conditions, but I'm happy with the results. I'm looking forward to shooting more theater and concerts with this lens!
